Finally a character for this series! The other two are :

okay, with the three picture together I can finally explain what this is about a bit more clearer.

This is a concept project I'm currently working on for a school subject. But this project is too big, so I decided to only work on one section of it as this assessment, which are these water element related designs you see here.

The fantasy world is named Garink, which is a world that worships three dragon god. (the water god is this dragon and the other two dragons are sky dragon and ground dragon.)This character Dolias belongs to an ancient race named Tanvers, who are half dragon and half human, and they are the servants of the dragon gods. Dolias belong to the water class of Tanvers, who live underwater and serves the water dragon god; so obviously there are two other classes/dragons that I will be working on in the future :)

Hope I didn't confuse you yet XD

but anyway, in this picture, Dolias, one of the best healing mages in her race is reading a book to learn new magic...but got distracted by a little fish :D
Next week I'll post another picture of her little brother as well :)

I'm going to try another style of Critique here~

1. Vision: 4.5/5
It's very serene. All I can say about details in a picture like this is "The more, the merrier". It makes the sight more amusing, and keeps people entertained with all the different thoughts that pop up in their mind after a nice, close look at it. All those colours look fabulous. (: Although, the light stem looks a bit out of place in my eyes, it's okay, though.

2. Originality: 4/5
Let's face it - it's about time we took a break from mermaids. A subject like this doesn't seem overused, and it's got all the niceness of the underwater wonders in it. A sweet seawitch is a good, new concept, but I'm afraid we've seen the fish-to-face cuteness lots of times before.

3. Technique: 4/5
I think we've achieved the "painting" look in this picture. Some parts still seem the slightest bit peculiar to me, but looking at it from a different view, it doesn't seem obvious. Nice brushes.

4. Impact: 3.5/5
Yeah. I suppose these kinds of paintings have no real "BOOM" factor, but they're nice to look at with no neon-like, psychedelic hues, and sort give off that "Mmmmm" feeling.

Overall, aweome job, keep it up. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w…" width="15" height="15" alt=";)" title=";) (Wink)"/>
